Dessert restaurants

I love dessert, but almost never order it at restaurants. I am spoiled by excellent dessert makers at home.

The exception is dessert restaurants. We have only been to two of these and both times have been magical. It’s a little slice of luxury dining entirely focused on the last part of the meal.

  1. Harmonika, Kyoto. I will never look at figs the same way. It was so cool seeing the chef put everything together and interacting with us along the way.
  2. INA, San Sebastian. A multi-course meal which included an ice cream ham croquette, potato ice cream, and foie gras pavlova.

I am looking for more. Send them to me if you find them.
